What price do you want for your grain?
Overnight moves in international markets and yesterday's actual traded prices across Australia are below to help you determine your price. If you need to change your offer price, simply edit it before market open.
Look Out!
I am on the road to Adelaide for the “Gather round is over” event, so I have no intelligence or market insights to offer.
I advised my dear friends at Clear Grain Exchange of my predicament, and they said, “we don’t care you are in an airport; our growers are hanging on every world you write. They need to know where they should offer their grain on the exchange.
Can you at least give us a back of the envelope analysis of what you think old crop will do, given our strong export performance in the 1st 6 months of the marketing year, from October to March.”
I put down my beer, as it was 6 am in the morning and I was still being searched by security.
So, before I boarded my plane, to the land that invented the Mullet, I jotted down a wheat S&D for this year.
Lucky, we grew a big crop this year, because by September 30th, there doesn’t appear to be lots of stocks in the cupboard, old mother Hubbard.
Also, if the BOM are correct and we have a drier finish this year, and produce a lower crop, things will get interesting next year.
Also, just remember which state most of the carryout wheat is stored
Most importantly we're always here to help!
