Look Out!
Soybeans got smacked last night on some improved weather forecasts for central Brazil.
Also vegoil markets were slightly softer.
Wheat and corn have some support but were basically unchanged after getting caught in the bean whirly wind.
Thanksgiving day in the US today (their time when they wake up) and as a gesture of thanks for Biden his Time calling the Chinese Cricket Team XI as dictator, China booked 110,000 tonnes of US Soft Red Winter wheat.
I wonder what else was given up.
If Dan Andrews did the deal, we would have given them a new RM Williams leather belt and a country road with potholes in it.
With freight around USD $52 it should land C&F (Cost & Freight) China around USD $295-$300.
Freight from Western Australia to China is around USD $20 per tonne, so it works back to around USD $280 FOB (Free on Board) WA for ASW wheat.
