Look Out!

  • Pop the champagne, wheat up again last night and Aussie dollar down.

  • Corn down and beans unchanged.

  • Canola up slightly, although the trade “feels” the Canadian canola crop is 1 million tonnes higher than previously forecast at 17.4 million tonnes.

  • Current Track Values remain pretty much unchanged at AUD $645 Vic, AUD $635 SA and AUD $700 WA.

  • Russian values firmed USD $5 last week to around USD $235 FOB (Free on Board).

  • We traded last year at USD $50 premiums to the Ruskies with a 39 million tonne crop in neighbouring markets.
