Grain Report Tuesday - 09th May
What price do you want for your grain?
Overnight moves in international markets and yesterday's actual traded prices across Australia are below to help you determine your price. If you need to change your offer price, simply edit it before market open.
Look Out!
Boooooo, Booooo, Chicago wheat, usually the best player on the field, disappointed the opposition last night, falling a couple of bucks.
Kansas wheat was up again on the back of some crop production issues.
Corn and Beans were mixed.
The market is positioning itself for the USDA World Ad Supply & Demand Estimate Guess on Friday night (our time).
This is an important report as they come out with the 23/24 crop forecasts.
It will be a conservative report with trend yields, but the market will trade it.
Consumption will be interesting given inflation rates and disposable income.
We will be going through this report with a fine-tooth comb over the weekend and providing a report to subscribers as to the impact on world prices and what it could mean Aussie new crop prices.
I will also be issuing an apology to the Chicago Board of Trade for booing CME wheat.
