Grain demand across the spectrum
There was demand for Australian grain across the spectrum last week with 37 buyers purchasing 32 grades of wheat, barley, canola, oats, lupins and faba beans across 15 port zones in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia. Buyers have a need for grain and were able to pay prices that many growers were targeting. Buyers included bulk exporters, container exporters, domestic end users, domestic traders, offshore end users and niche traders. There are plenty of buyers that want Australian grain, however it is often difficult for many of them to participate in trying to buy Australian grain. Make it easier for ALL BUYERS to try and buy your grain by offering it for sale at the price you want on an INDEPENDENT and SECURE exchange - Clear Grain Exchange (CGX). If you're a bit unsure of your sale price, start higher, but get it out there so all buyers can see it, crunch their numbers and try to buy it. That's how you create demand for your grain and ensure it sells at it's FULL VALUE. Plus you're completely ANONYMOUS and PROTECTED throughout the process. Offshore markets continue to be volatile with uncertainty over northern hemisphere production prospects during their spring and the world needs Australian grain.
