Demand for Australian grain remained robust - there was healthy demand for grain across Australia last week seeing prices hold firm.
Barley, wheat, canola, faba beans, lupins, lentils and oats trading - 38 grades across QLD, NSW, VIC, SA and WA made up 62,000t traded on CGX and igrain last week.

Demand for grain remains resilient
Barley made up 46% of all grain traded last week through Clear Grain Exchange with 14 buyers purchasing the commodity across Victoria, SA and WA as demand and prices remain resilient.
Wheat grades contributed 32% of all grain traded with 16 different buyers purchasing 11 different grades across all states. Many grades managed to lift in price from the previous week despite weakness reported in offshore markets.
Canola prices continued to move higher through last week with volumes trading right around Australia as growers achieve their target sales prices. 9 different buyers purchased all grades of canola which made up 17% of all grain traded.
Oat and pulse prices also remained resilient across the week with 7 buyers purchasing oats, lupins, lentils and faba beans.
On igrain lower grades of wheat such as ASW1 and AGP1 traded in Donald VIC and Temora NSW ex-farm respectively. Feed barley was also trading around Parkes NSW ex-farm. Buyers were actively seeking lower grades of wheat and barley, along with oats, lupins and lentils through NSW, VIC and SA on igrain through the week.
