ASW1 wheat was trading in earnest across the country last week with price differentials still relatively wide in some areas reflecting different dynamics between port zones - see the values trading in the tables below.

All wheat grades were largely in demand across port zones with 15 wheat grades in total trading. Noodle wheat in the west was attracting interest, H2 was trading across 7 port zones, and lower grades were also in the buyers sights with little difference in prices generally between the off-spec grades.

Feed barley continued to trade strongly around the country with NSW attracting strong premiums to other states. Off-spec feed barley was also finding demand and malt grades were trading across 5 port zones at healthy premiums to feed.

Canola was trading on the back of a lift in off-shore futures helping buyers to get their bids up to grower target prices. +$700/t + oil bonifications was trading in Albany, Victoria and Kembla were also trading.

Oats were trading $370/t in WA, faba beans $410/t Melbourne and Adelaide, lentils $734/t Melbourne and lupins $350/t Kwinana and Esperance
